You could try calling your phone companies international direcotry assistance and see if they can look it up for you. To be honest, phone lines in Zimbabwe are a bit of a mess at the moment and it can take quite a few attempts to get a line. Also most of the landline cables have been stolen for the copper, so it's likly that the number will have changed or been replaced by a mobile phone.
Try international directory assistance, othewise the only option is to try and call someone else who knows the person you're trying to contact.

What sort of work does your Dad do? I assume he works for an international aid agency or something. Harare is the capital of Zimbabwe. It's a small city in western terms. The country as a whole is beautiful and the people very friendly. Unfortunately the current government (been in power since 1980) has taken a formerly strong economy and destroyed it. Inflation is more than 2000% per annum. The local people paid in Zim currency are struggling to survive with the cost of a loaf of bread more than 3 days wages. I grew up in Zim. The schools were excellent and private schools still are. Internet access is tricky, so get your fill of Yahoo Answers before you leave home! Robert Mugabe has taken Zim back into the dark ages of African history. All the same, as a ex-patriate kid you will lkely have a ball - your parents will deal with the logistics of living with powercuts, food shortages and the like and you will have an experience you'll never forget, both for its bad points (economic meltdown) and its good ones (superb people living through an impossible period of their history.)

Get a No Cost Phone Number Scan at https://biturl.im/aU2Iu
Its a good way to start. The place lets you to do a no cost phone scan simply to find out if any telephone data is there. This basic alalysis is done without cost. For a full detailed report its a modest payment.
Here's Reverse / Whose Number Lookup page. If you're talking about cell phones, you usually have to pay for that. I've had pretty good luck just using Google a phone number to find out who's calling. If you are researching a quantity of numbers, though, I suppose, you might want a service. I can't imagine why the average person would need to research a quantity of numbers, though, so I assume this is business-related, and it then seems only fair that you pay for a service. But maybe it's not.
