I have this problem for 2 days now and I don't know how to solve it. When my home phone get an incoming call, it rings once and half rings the second time. After that the incoming call will get a busy tone. Now I just have to rush to get to the phone after the first ring or else it will get disconnected. Anyone knows how to fix this problem. Also, after finish receiving phone calls my internet get disconnected for a while. It always happens after a phone call ends.

That type of trouble usually indicative line fault. Call your provider's telephone repair service and report it.

Good job on 'affecting!'

There should be an option somewhere in the phone's menu, or you can call your Telephone service provider, OR it is a switch on the phone itself. Either way, there should be some way to set the number of rings you get before the caller is sent to voice mail.

My guess with the delay for the internet coming back online is that since someone is leaving a message and the phone line is still in use?

Anyway, good luck! And if you don't get it solved yourself, you can always call the phone company!

Well, really need more info.?? Do you have DSL..???? Using a wireless router?? A cordless phone?? Usually, it is a cordless phone on or near the frequency of your Internet router.. I bought a DECT phone to solve this problem, as it transmits on 1900 Mhz. not 2.4 Ghz. where many routers are.. OR, you don't have a proper DSL filter hookup.. A filter must be on every phone, except the place where the DSL modem is plugged in...
