My answer telephone can playback Out going mesage,but cannot record Incoming , I am wondering if phone service provider's problem or others? This answer machine did work well a week ago? Thank you.

Sounds to me like you have the machine set to "Announce Only". When it is set in this mode, it will answer the caller and play your outgoing message once or twice then hang up. Call it from a cell phone, or neighbors phone, and listen to what is going on. If it only plays the outgoing message once then beeps to leave a message, try leaving one. If it does not record, then something is wrong with you machine. You could have been subject to a power surge which damaged the unit. Service provider does not sound like the problem here.
