Does *67 work on dial out phones that require a 9, then the number?

I am at work but need to call someone and want to block my number from being shown on thier cell phone. Is it possible to do the *67 off my phone, it requires you dial 9 to dial out, then 1, then the number

just hit 9 first. then *67, then the number you are calling.
