Somehow my phone has gotten into the Silent Mode. How do I get it back to the original mode so that I can hear it ring?

Do you have the book that came with the phone?? I just increase the volume button on the right of the base unit... (It will turn off the ring if too low.)

On the three DECT6 Uniden models that I have, when the phone is in standby mode, press the center directional button up or down to adjust the volume control. Pressing it up will increase the volume, pressing it down will lower it, and pressing it down enough times will turn off the ring entirely. If this does not work for you, list your model number in a new question and I would be able to help you better.

I REALIZE THIS ANSWER COMES 4 LATE, BUT I HAD THE SAME PHONE SAME PROBLEM. THE CORRECT ANSWER IS:

HOLD DOWN THE "#" KEY UNTIL IT MAKES A SOUND AND THE PHONE IS OFF SILENT MODE.
