I'm not sure if this is possible but I know the internal extension for the person I need to speak with is 200. If the places number is 12345678 how do I call the person I want to speak with, would 123456200 work?

I assume from your question that you are calling a private switchboard from another site.

In the normal course of events the call would be answered by the company telephonist / receptionist who would put you through to the extension number.

DDI ( direct dialing in ) can also be used if the company owning the switchboard has it installed.

This involves either renting a lot of pre-configured numbers off the `phone network provider or having the switchboard programmed to do this;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_inward_dialing

So no one on here can tell you what to dial even if DDI is being used.

The only way to find out is to get the DDI number for a particular extension number is to ask the company that you are ringing or the person who will normally answer that extension.

Might be in the company literature / advertisements / Yellow Pages etc though.

Normally when you call there will be a receptionist who will forward your call. If it is a automatic system, and you dial 12345678, wait until the system answers and starts playing the pre-recorded message. Some systems require that you wait until the message "if you know the extension of the person that you are calling, dial it now". Then you dial 200. If not then you will need to ask the person that you are calling how their telephone system works.

It depends on the phone system you have but most in an office environment are set up to let you by simply opening the line and pressing the extension. Many are set up to have to dial 9 first for an outside line when it's set up like that.

For example: 200

That should do it. If not ask your IT dept.

Often its just dial the extension. When you dial out, you generally have to press 8 or 9 before the number. Contact your IT department and ask them before you start making calls if you are unsure of how to dial the number.

"The purple Rings of death" is their nickname. It occurs when your Xbox overheats. In case your Xbox continues to be within guarantee, which you can send it off to Microsoft and they're going to both repair it or ship you a new one. Microsoft may even send you the box to send it back to them in! But it might probably take as much as a month to get your Xbox back, but regrettably there isn't a other way. It could work in case you let it settle down for a day or so, but it would nonetheless damage now and again. This link will explain what to do :)
