How to use my local home phone to call from outside the usa ?

Im going overseas and i want to forward my house calls to my house number in my over seas home.

Here's the easiest and cheapest way. Get Vonage VOIP, you bring the device with you and plug it into a Internet connection. You not only get calls but can makes calls and will be charged as if you were back home. You can either change number or keep your present number. Vonage will take about 2 weeks or less to transfer your number to the Vonage account.

I recommend calling your telephone service provider. Chances are they will be able to put a temporary forward to just about any number for a fee (i'm not 100% sure how this will work with an international call). Check with your provider
