So, I am currently using Time Warner Cable, and I absolutely hate it.

I got a call from At&t for a bundle, which includes digital cable, internet, and phone.

I was wondering if the phone is digital, like TWC? I know a few people that have digital phone through TWC, and they hate it.

Also, does anyone have this bundle? What are some of your experiences? Pros and cons?

I have four services from AT&T. I have AT&T Uverse, which is fiber optic. It isnt available everywhere but a lot of major metro areas have it. Uverse allows you to have TV, internet, and telephone. If you choose to have the Uverse phone it goes thru the internet like the time warner phone, that's why I don't have that. I keep my old fashioned landline regular phone service, with AT&T local and long distance for about $20.00/mo. I hardly use it and just keep it active mainly for 911. I just use my cell for my regular calls. I do have uverse for the TV and and internet and highly recommend it over Time Warner. The TV and Internet bundles from AT&T vary in prices depending on what internet speed and what TV channels you want to get. I believe AT&T also contracts with Dish Network if you would want to get Satellite TV.

I suggest you call AT&T 800-288-2020 and see what they can offer you.

No, the phone is a real land line. The internet is DSL. The TV and Internet use that same wire coming into the house but are only piggy-backing on the wire and don't use up your phone like dial up used to.

I don't have the bundle because in my area it is cheaper to get the services I want separately. I have digital phone, but through a carrier that lets me pay $100/year for unlimited calls so that's roughly $9/month. With digital phone, people do have problems with it. The main reason is because the phone is only as good as your internet connection. If you are using a coax cable line that the cable company ran to your house 30 years ago, it might be good enough for analog TV still but it isn't good enough to hold a stable internet connection. You could think you have a good high speed internet connection but digital phone will really put it to the test and you are at the mercy of the ISP to go out to your place and fix up their lines so you have a stable connection. I have cable internet and it's rock solid 99.99% of the time so I rarely have trouble with my digital phone.

My cable internet costs me $25/mo for 5MBPS down 1MBPS up. Because of the various options for high speed internet in town, the price is driven down because of competition.

For TV, I use satellite because they're cheaper for the amount of channels you get. I don't watch a whole lot of TV so I like having the option of not paying for channels I don't watch. I know Dish Network has a plan with 50 channels for $20/mo. I personally pay about $30/mo with another service.

Add that all up and it comes to $64/mo. or as low as $54/mo if you went with the 50 channel Dish Package. That's what works for me.
