that's the way I have set up my phone system!

Its called simultaneous calling feature!

call forwarding is a pain-in-the-neck.....because I always forgot to take the forwarding off....so, this way I don't have to do nothing!

so my cell-phone and my home-phone all have the same number.....you can put up to 4 numbers on it!

I also have my work-number on it too! so I never have to give out my real number, just one number!

The mobile phone number owner may have forwarded all the calls to the home phone number. You will have to find an alternate way to get in touch with the cell phone owner outside of via cell and have them check the call forwarding settings on the cell phone.

The cell phone is probably forwarded to the home phone.
