I run a local food delivery service in my home town (St Helens, UK) and Im looking for ways to cut down (completely!) on fake/prank orders.
At the moment, with any order I get from a new customer im literally going round to the given address before processing an order to confirm that its genuine. The only problem with this, is that it takes time, money in petrol and increases customers waiting times.
Ive looked at 192.com, and that seems pretty good if I can get a customers surname to confirm the address and call their house number to double check, but thats only good if it shows up as one of the free results. The premium results charge you "credits" to view the information, sometimes costing up to around £9 per view, so this is just not cost effective for me.
My question really, is if I have a customers home phone number, is there any resource I can use to check the address against that phone number before I call the number to confirm the order?
Cheers for any help
