It is the simplest thing in the world for anyone outside of the US to get a US phone number that forwards calls to their own number but does anyone know a site for getting a virtual phone number in Nairobi, Kenya

It's tough, because East Africa must not have many servers. Best is to do a web search for International virtual phones in Kenya. I found one company that advertised Kenya, but you couldn't sign up. If you used South Africa, it had a really high rate, like $35 for 250 minutes.

Hi! I think my experience will be helpful for you. A company where I work had several virtual numbers for South African countries from Freezvon.com These guys present many types of African virtual phone numbers according to your preferences. For us it was easy in use it,because this company is very responsive and always ready to explain if something is not clear to you. I don't know about Nairobi but Kenyan virtual numbers exist here https://freezvon.com/kenya-virtual-numbers.html By the way, prices are really reasonable, you may find confirmation on their site.
